Len Small is the former art director at Nautilus, and the Co-President of ICON: The Illustration Conference, coming to Detroit in 2018. He served as art director for Tablet Magazine and Nextbook Press, and has designed and directed for R/GA and New York Media.
His work has been recognized by Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Society of Publication Designers, The Webbys, ASME, Society for News Design, and Communication Arts.
He earned his MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts, and his BFA in Fine Arts from Washington University in St Louis.
